Abstract

|
Histochemical studies on peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase in the body of clonorchis sp. , paragonimus sp., fasciola sp., eurytrema sp., ascaris sp., toxocara spp., diphyllobothrium sp. and taenia sp. were carried out, and following results were obtained.
1. peroxidase was distributed widely -in subcuticular tissul, reticular tissue, oral sucker, intestine, ovary, testes, uterus, and ovum.
2. polyphenol oxidase was distributed only in vitellaria, ovum and uterus (ascaris lumbricoides, toxocara cati and cani).
3. The author discussed about the organ specificity in the distribution of peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase depend on the above mentioned results.
